I am usually amazingly and freakishly neither under nor over-wowed by the Chanel shows.
To me they're like...
(expensive) white fashion noise. I just have no opinion on them- they are... Chanel. I would never say I dislike them, I mean, it's CHANEL sweetie. I just think many of the shows are very same-y.
This show, however I really did like. Once it skipped past all the two-piece day suits I began to really warm to it. This may be due to the fact that I'm a sucker for a feather or a sequin, but some of the gowns were both decadent and minimal- a dichotomy hard to achieve and hard to not love.
Anyway, judge for yourselves but in my heart of hearts I know I'm not alone when I say there are not many (any) things I would not do to be sat in the audience of a Chanel show.

I know what you mean, there isn't anything jaw-dropping in that collection, I do love a good off the shoulder number though which there was plenty of.
