Yesterday I attended a screening of the new Diana Vreeland documentary, 'The Eye Has To Travel' at SoHo House.
It charts the life and times of the legendary fashion editor, from her birth in Paris, through the roaring 20s and right through to the 'Youth-Quake' of the 60s.
Vreeland started out as a fashion editor at Harpers then moved on to be Editor at American Vogue where she really changed the fashion landscape and had a vision that is still relevant today.
I would definitely go and see the film, Mrs Vreeland is the most fabulously witty and stylish woman and her life was amazing!!! Full of glamour and decadence. Throughout the film she is rarely seem without a fag hanging out of her mouth, even whilst handling Couture.
Fabulous!!
