Work Wear: Outfit Of The Day

 This is my genuine 'busy, busy, busy. outfit. Ex-Boyfriend's vest, (another) Ex-Boyfriend's shirt, to be casually tied around my waist when I get a bit hot! Hair piled up haphazardly, and a thick slick of Bobbi Brown Gel Liner.

I purchased the first 'practical' item I've bought in a long time the other day... A Backpack (HERE). Not an ornamental fashionista one, a bonafide, functional backpack. Let me tell you, it has saved my life (Hyperbole. It's mainly saved my back and shoulder regions)! I have to lug my laptop to-and-fro and mine is quite a clunky, chunky, heavy one. I've also got into the habit of taking 3 or 4 back-issues of Vice home each night for 'homework' (and tube reading matter) so I guess it's only fitting that they go in a school bag!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in my head, I look like a less hot Rita Ora in this get up... actually, I've just looked at the photos again and I look like I'm in my scruffies about to do some spring cleaning.

My Timberland boots are so comfy! (again Rita Ora inspired) I had a couple of pairs as a teenager, one pair were, ahem, baby blue with white soles...

I want to get them a bit more worn, they're a bit too 'fresh' at the minute. I ebayed mine, but you can get yours here.
