I always get uber excited for Topshop collaborations as most of the time they are bang on. In fact, I can't think of a bad one, some have been downright iconic; Christopher Kane, Mary Katrantzou, Kate Moss, Meadham Kirchhoff... I could go on.
Now it's the turn of NewGen darling and long-time friend of Topshop Louise Gray. Known for her London-centric brand of quirky colourful fun, Gray is always one of the home-grown highlights of London fashion Week.
Gray is not only collaborating on a fashion range of sequinned delights with the high-street giants but, in a first for Topshop's fledgling make-up line, a range of cosmetics.
These will all reflect Louise's own personal style and the packaging will be as good as the products within.
"My idea behind the collaboration was to design for the Topshop girl a range that was young and fun, similar to both the fashion and make up I wear already. My mainline collections have always been about pushing optimism, colour and fun, I want her to experiment with the product, be daring and have fun with it,"
The Louise Gray range will be available in Topshop at the end of the month.
