G&G Autmn/Winter Trend Report

It's that time of year.... July, where we start thinking about what we'll be wearing in the coming season. As I write this, I'm freezing my bollocks off (if you'll pardon the expression) and haven't seen the Sun since my summer holiday... in Africa!!! So, I'm sure we're all completely ready for a seasonal sartorial change, my summer wardrobe is neither use nor ornament anyway.

All I do know is, print is still big, but I, for one, am sick to the back teeth of bold floral prints, so lovely in the summer, they feel stale now. Think flock/brocade/William Morris-esque prints as seen at Miu Miu and Stella McCartney. Pyjamas are still good, but in a far more 'luxe' capacity, they are no longer casual! And military as seen at Topshop Unique is a great staple look this season, however, taken out of the festival context and into a far more grown-up, chic realm.
