I am now living in Peckham, which I really like, firstly, it's a lot busier than the place I'm from in Leeds which has a Morrisons which closes far too early to be of use and a corner shop. That's pretty much it.
Camberwell Collage of the Arts is 5 mins away and there's some really cool shops round there. You can get a Jamaican Pattie just up the road (my Dad's side of the family are Jamaican). Also, Peckham has, like, a crazy abundance of pound shops- this is the best thing ever! I love pound shops... but I love 99p shops even more ('cos I'm a total skinflint!).
These are some of my many purchases. A beautiful Skittles scented candle- who knew they existed!? A handy little 'I'm obviously not from here' notebook and pen and a make-up holder, which is actually a builders tool belt I think, but is the perfect storage solution for my make-up- it even has little segments for my make-up brushes (probably intended for screwdrivers).
In fact if anyone wants one, I'm more than happy to pick one up for you!
In other news- the Olympics Opening Ceremony literally blew my mind. I got all emotional when J.K. Rowling came out as I'm a proper Haz-Po fanatic. Danny Boyle really did us proud.
What did you think of it??

Nice to see you're settling in to your new neighbourhood, it's so exciting for you! I loved the ceremony too, so chuffed they squeezed a Harry Potter reference in there, the giant Voldemort was awesome!
HAHA love the skittles scented candle! I live in Peckham too :) I love all the hair shops, so much cheap products and jewellery there.

I love Peckham. My friends live right by the Asda. It's such a cool place really up and coming.
Also you cannot go wrong with a good 99p shop! x
