Motel Baroque Midi Dress

Dress:MotelRocks.com or ASOS
Flatforms:Office Shoes
Belt: Vintage
Bag: Chloe
I always used to wear body-con dresses (when I was thin) they were like my trademark (when I was thin) but the last year or so I've had some body-con-fidence (geddit!?) issues so I've strayed away from figure hugging items.
My friend Ben made me try on another Motel dress the other day and told me I need to wear skin tight things and just rock it!!!
I still have a few residual neuroses about my body but I'm just going to embrace my shape. It's hard being part of the blogging community because, obviously, there are so many beautiful, waifish fashionista bloggers and it makes you question your own figure and compare yourself to others.
I know I will never be a gamine, slender sort of girl. I'm frickin' West Indian and my arse is huge, but I'm going to try and celebrate that (maybe get down the gym and lose a couple of pounds!) and Motel dresses do suck you in nicely!
Apologies for rambling on but I think everyone has these sorts of worries in one way or another and it's nice to know you're not alone in that respect.

How do you dress your figure and do you have any body image issues??

My 'Princess Jasmine' hair-do. Or the anti sweat head boff!
Big Bum!

Hi ^_^ I agree we all have body hang ups, i'm thin and west indian too i wish i had more meat lol. I think curves look amazing in bodycons - i'd never wear them the size i am now. And your shape is gorgeous! If you got it flaunt it :)

Pffft, you have an amazing body!

Yes there's loads of waifish types but they don't have a glorious arse like yours!

erm whistle for the hottie!!!

your body is slamming ma!

I shy away from bodycon or anything form formfitting, cause I detest being perved on by guys - so yeah we all got issues.

I think this dress looks wicked on you especially with your dark hair. You definitely don't need to have any body issues but we all have them I guess.

You look great! I am glad you got persuaded to try it on :) xx

That dress is awesome! I have a similar body type to you and I love wearing tight stuff. I'd rather show my figure than my skin as I feel more comfortable with it :)

Yeah, I don't like flashing legs or cleavage but I think showing your shape is sexy. x

You know what, my problem is that my bum is flat like a pancake. A bit of a "mum bum". Lately I've been working hard to try and make mine more like yours. You always want what you don't have!

Some people need to pay more attention to their shape though. You would not like to see me in hit pants for instance! Lol x
